Schneider Electric Unveils Data Center Module For Mobile Edge Applications

📅 April 25, 2018 - End-to-end data center solutions vendor Schneider Electric has announced the launch of its Edge Module, a newly prefabricated and pre-integrated data center solution designed to empower telco customers to effectively operate, manage, monitor, control and administer distributed data center environments.

Technologies like 5G, smart homes and IoT-enabled devices, autonomous cars, and drone delivery programs, would create a need for higher processing power – closer to the end user meeting the demand for "staggering" bandwidth and allow critical decisions to be made at the source.
