Motion to Dismiss from Facebook Thrown Out in Data Center Design Lawsuit


📅 - A Silicon Valley judge ruled against Facebook last week in the motion to dismiss the lawsuit. The suit was filed by a British Data Center builder back in 2015 stating that Facebook misappropriated their trade secrets.

The secrets the lawsuit is all about have to do with the modular data center designs and methods. BladeRoom is one of the two companies filing the suit, which claims Emerson Electric and Facebook, lured BladeRoom and Bripco into disclosing data center methods and designs, and then used them for a data center they built in Sweden on their own.
