Nov, 2016 : Amazon Unveils New High Tech Cloud Services


📅 - With Amazon's cloud computing revenue expected to top $10 billion this year, the company has announced some new cloud computing products. On Wednesday, Amazon introduced Polly an image recognition service and Lex a speech-to-text service.

The products were introduced on Wednesday at the company's re:Invent conference by Andy Jassy, the CEO of Amazon Web Services unit. The event was the 5th annual and drew 32,000 attendees from many different sectors of the tech field.

Cloud spending in the public sector is expected to increase 17 percent this year, rising to over $204 billion.

They were a victim of a global malware attack targeting household devices. Thousands of customers experienced issues with TV, internet and phone service due to the attack.
