DDoS Attack on Dyn Involved 10s of Millions of IP Addresses


📅 - Dyn went through a huge DDoS Attack, recently, which causes sites, such as Reddit, PayPal, Twitter and Spotify to go down. Even The New York Times was taken down by this attack.

While investigating any DDoS Attack takes times and not all of the details are known, Dyn has stated that the attack involved 10s of millions of IP addresses. The company also confirmed that one of the sources used for the attack came from devices infected by the Mirai botnet.
