Jul, 2016 : IBM and Telcom PTCL Become Partners on Public Cloud


📅 - Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited or PTCL and IBM Italia S.p.A. have partnered to launch a new public cloud service in Pakistan. The companies will use the new offering to target corporate customers and will offer many additional services through the IBM cloud platform.

PTCL is headquartered in Islamabad, Pakistan and has been known as the largest converged services carrier in the country. They offer many services including video-conferencing, internet access and more. The two companies together will be able to offer a turnkey solution developed by IBM and available through the PTCL data centers in Karachi and Lahore.
