📅 - Oracle, a hardware and software systems company, recently announced they have acquired Textura, a SaaS collaboration solutions company. The cost of the deal was reported at nearly $660 million. Textura will merge with Oracle Primavera to create a new Oracle Engineering and Construction Global Business Unit.

Oracle was established in 1977 and it's headquartered in Redwood Shores, California. The company serves about 380,000 customers including many Fortune 100 companies.

Textura is headquartered in Deerfield, Illinois and provides award-winning solutions for SaaS collaboration. The company has about 6,000 projects per month it managed with an income of more than $3.4 billion.
