📅 - When June 30, 2016 rolls around, Google will stop the DoubleClick and AdWords networks from using animated Flash banner advertisements. They made the decision to take flash out of Google Chrome in June of 2015 and are trying to encourage internet users to use HTML5 instead.

Flash is known for providing a media-rich experience for users. The software comes from Adobe and offers a movie-like advertisement. However, the increase in mobile devices has made it hard for Flash to keep up.
