New York Want Financial Institutions to Have New Cybersecurity Regulations


📅 - The New York Department of Financial servers recently drafted a letter and sent it to the Financial and Banking Information Infrastructure Committee. The letter provided information about the new cybersecurity regulations they would like to propose.

The NYDFS would like stricter regulations including a number of different things, such as audit trial systems, Chief Information Security Officers and more. The list isn't finalized or complete yet.
