PhoenixNAP Client Portal Streamlines Infrastructure Management

📅 - PhoenixNAP®, a global IT services provider offering cloud, dedicated server, colocation, and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) technology solutions, announced today its new phoenixNAP Client Portal (PNCP) helps facilitate simplified management and administration of supporting IT infrastructure.

Within the intuitive online interface, clients are able to manage any bare metal or public cloud services they may be using, as well as add any virtual machines or servers with a few clicks to address changing demands. The easy-to-use graphical layout also lets clients submit support tickets, check on billing, perform load balancer health checks, and more.

“For some time we've all heard about the single pane of glass concept when it comes to managing IT infrastructure,” said William Bell, VP of product development for phoenixNAP. “With PNCP, we are able to offer clients a one-stop-shop they can use to not only efficiently keep tabs on infrastructure they are currently using, but also provide efficient avenues for scaling up to meet evolving needs.”

In addition to the features outlined above, PNCP allows clients to load balance VMs in the same pool, deploy virtual firewalls, and take actions on groups of VMs and/or bare metal servers at the same time. There are also a number of features tailored to resellers.

“A common challenge many resellers face is managing a large amount of infrastructure efficiently,” added Bell. “PNCP provides resellers a variety of white labeling options on their public cloud VMs and lets them assign any servers to one of their customers.”

The phoenixNAP Client Portal is offered to all phoenixNAP clients as a complimentary value-add service. Future releases of PNCP will continue to add functionality to help ease the administration of supporting IT infrastructure.

PhoenixNAP is a PCI DSS Validated Service Provider and its flagship facility is SOC Type 1 and SOC Type 2 audited.
