NovaStor Partners with Millenium Micro Group to Meet Backup and Recovery Software Demand in Canada

📅 - NovaStor, an international provider of award-winning backup solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with Millennium Micro Group, the largest technology reseller buying group in Canada. The agreement with Millenium Micro Group allows NovaStor to sell its comprehensive suite of backup and recovery software products to more than 250 resellers across eight provinces and one territory.

NovaStor will utilize its existing marketing and sales channels to work with Millenium Micro Group's resellers to sell to thousands of small business customers across Canada that require backup solutions. Under the terms of the partnership, Millenium Micro Group resellers will be able to leverage NovaStor's existing solutions, high partner margins, premium technical support, and dedicated account management.

“We are very excited about our new partnership,” said Mike Andrews, Managing Director at NovaStor. “Millenium Micro Group has a large reseller channel throughout Canada with not only several hundred resellers, but also more than 250 storefronts or office locations that serve small businesses' backup software needs. The synergy between our two organizations was a seamless fit and we look forward to growing our footprint further in Canada.”

Originally started in Quebec in 2003, Millenium Micro Group has grown from 35 initial members in 2006 and 20 suppliers to revenues of $360 million in 2013. Most recently, Millenium Micro Group has seen exponential growth outside of Quebec, with more than 50 locations in Ontario and further expansion into the Western Canadian provinces.

“Our reseller channel group focuses on small businesses and that's a core strength of NovaStor's growth strategy,” said Carl Paquin, President of Millenium Micro Group. “It's a win-win for both of us, because we both care about the needs of small business owners who are often ignored by the larger vendors.”

As part of the new partnership, Millenium Micro Group's new resellers will have the opportunity to sign up as a Certified partner with NovaStor to enjoy its brand-new Red Phone support, which enables partners to get answers to questions in both pre- and post-sales support situations in a timelier manner. Other Certified partner benefits will include some of the highest partner margins in the industry, and NovaStor's trademark – free Setup Assistance.
