Verso Technologies Completes Operational Support Systems Integration for Xspedius Corp.

📅 - (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Verso Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of technology infrastructure solutions that power complex business environments, today announced the completion of its enterprise application integration (EAI) engagement for Xspedius Corp. an integrated voice and data services provider offering local telephone service, local dial tone, high-speed Internet, voice over the Internet and Web hosting services.

Xspedius, a facilities-based service provider, has become a major force in the Louisiana market, after experiencing phenomenal growth in its customer base over the last three years. The partnership with Verso enabled Xspedius to complete an eight-city expansion consisting of cities in North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee.
After a thorough review of Xspedius' multiple systems and processes, Verso's business analysts determined that real-time integration of stand-alone OSS systems would help Xspedius achieve its goals of improving efficiency, profitability and customer service. By creating a virtual bridge that links Xspedius' MetaSolv provisioning software with their customer billing and CRM applications, Verso created a single repository of data, where information "feeds" from one application to the other in real time, creating a single view of Xspedius' business and, ultimately, of their customers. With the ability to access and respond to inquiries faster, better and more accurately, Xspedius has improved its level of customer service in support of its long-term growth and retention strategy.
Additionally, by utilizing a best-in-class integration platform with pre-configured adapters for telecom OSS systems, Verso's integration team significantly reduced the cost and time to implement its solution, a savings that, by the end of the engagement, had a dramatically positive effect on Xspedius' bottom-line.
"Our solution offered a seamless way to migrate Xspedius' legacy systems and integrate their newer point solutions to provide a scalable, integrated OSS platform," says Jim Logsdon, president and COO of Verso Technologies. "By enabling Xspedius to differentiate itself through faster, better, more informed customer service, our solution supports short-term profitability goals and Xspedius' long-term growth strategy."
"Based on Verso's experience, we had a high degree of confidence in their ability to integrate our platform providing inter-process communications and data synchronization across multiple systems. The integrated platform streamlines many of our mission critical processes enabling us to provide an enhanced level of customer service," said Glenn Sonnier, vice president of OSS/provisioning customer care for Xspedius. "Verso's solution coordinates and controls the sharing of information across the operational support teams, assists us in the management of trouble tickets and ensures the enforcement of our external service level agreements."
