📅 - OptiGlobe (http://www.optiglobe.com), a Latin American provider of web-enabled IT outsourcing and data center services, announced today that it is expanding operations into Mexico City, rounding out its pan-regional presence.

OptiGlobe will offer the Mexican market a comprehensive portfolio ofinfrastructure, connectivity, professional, support and managed services.These services will enable Mexican and multi-national companies to rolloutand operate mission-critical IT systems faster and with lower costs andbetter quality than is possible in-house. OptiGlobe already has operationsin São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires. The company will officiallylaunch its Mexico City operations in the first quarter of 2002.

OptiGlobe-Mexico is led by Country manager Ramon Quintana, a seasonedexecutive with more than 15 years of experience in the IT, financial andtelecommunications industries. Quintana came to OptiGlobe from NCR, where hewas Latin America vice president of Operations for NCR's data warehousingsubsidiary, the Teradata Solutions Group. Under Quintana's leadership, NCRincreased its Latin American data warehousing and CRM customer baseeight-fold.
