😁 Finally found a good home for my project
Would like to say that I've found a good home for my project. It turned out that I tried many web hosts, but any of them didn't even come close to pacifichost.com. So far I have been very pleased. I have not noticed any downtime or slow browsing speed.
They sent a guy out to look at it turns out I did something wrong in my config file. They fixed the entire thing no cost to me. Great + for their customer support service.
It also provides tools to help identify the cause and to arrive at a solution.
Uptime is good. They are very professional in approach and follow up.
All in all, Pacifichost runs an honest business that treats customers with respect.

😁 Pacifichost Fits My Needs Perfectly!
I have been using pacifichost.com for over a month now with a shared hosting account. It gives good service at an affordable price, with multiple ways to pay, even Paypal, monthly too, and they don't rip you off. Your in control of your service.

I am not a technical-minded person and they have walked me through everything I've needed to make my hosting experience with them a great experience. The sales and Technical are purely professional and timely. Thank them for being there. I hope they will continue this way.

😁 I like pacifichost to be my web host!
Hey guys,

I signed up with pacifichost over 3 months ago. In my first week it wasn't that great as my website was down for an hour but it apparently was due to the nic card needing to be replaced. With that aside, the support is always there, which is an issue I had at my last host. Everytime I go on their website, and I've spammed their chats almost so they probably don't like me very much lol. Everytime I start a chat though they answer within like a minute so I appreciate always having somebody I can talk to on the site. Sometimes though they would ask me to submit a ticket, but that was for a whmcs install and a nameserver issue - but they replied like an hour later and set it all up.

I can't say they have the fastest network, or the best nic cards but gawd darnit they have the best support.

I had been with Pacifichost for 1 month. I had tried many other hosts before reaching pacifichost. At other hosts, the main problem I came across was script installation and its configuration or troubleshooting. Here techs at pacifichost helped me to realize this. I need not worry any more for my scripts. They can install any kind of script and configure them. Also the billing department is so quick in processing orders. Apart from compatibility issues, I have never came across an issues with my scripts. I would say that Pacifichost is the company which provides best ffmpeg hosting.

This was the worst hosting experience I've ever had. Multiple problems and very poor support. Every time that I contacted them I got the run around.
🗨 This is unfortunate, it is hard to help this person if he did not even provide valid contact info. However, our chat and phone support is always 24/7 and we strive to take care of issues the first time around. I have not seen a support ticket over a few hours til resolution in over a few months. Since there is no way to verify any of this information, we can't say how we could do anything different. I personally stay on top of everything we do and would not have allowed an issue like this to happen.

😠 Pacific Host - VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
I buy hosting there yet this month, at the beginning of a good server, but after a few days, their servers being down. It is very difficult to ask for money back. they are just stalling for time.
🗨 When a customer is not happy, we stand behind out full refund before 45 days. The only exceptions are things like doman names and dedicated servers. I will issue a refund in a few minutes if someone requests one. I wish I had more information about this user so I could see what went wrong and fix it. I never want to see someone leave us unhappy.

😠 The Worst in hosting and liars to boot
one of the slowest hosters, and the lie every time you call
I started with them 4/22/11, and on the 23rd I was requesting support and there response was it works for us! I said no it does not work, they wrote back sorry your ip was blocked. NP. 4 hrs later I'm contacting them back. and their response oh your ip was blocked.???? 4/30/11: Contacting them again this time a domain issue. 5/1/11 Im back and they say sorry we are doing migrations. ???? All good until 4/27/2012 and it was taking sometimes 2 to 3 minutes to load a page. Which after 3 days they said it was a permissions issue and wouldnt happen again. all good until 1/23/13 I got on chat and complained about ungodly speeds ( 1 time it took over 5 mins) they suspended me for 2 many nodes (found out it was a master email account I didnt know about) they deleted then said that and permissions where the speed issues. also happened in Feb (26ish) (moved a main site to another hoster) and in the beginning of March. 🗨 I have researched this account with the ticket number provided. Unfortunately this story is a bit blown out of proportion. This customer contacted our support because his site disappeared. We investigated and told him that someone from his old hosting company logged in (From a WiredTree IP) and do this. He apparently used the same credentials when he signed up for an account with us. Our techs tried to restore from back-ups but this customer told us that he was going to just go file a complaint, that we needed to "close account

😠 Service with Pacific Host was great for the first two months, but now the service is horrible, 2-5 minutes just to load a website, and The same guy answers the phone all the time, plus he doesnt do anything but say "Submit a Ticket" to india, where they have no clue what they are doing.
Time to once again, find a new hosting provider. :(

😠 Update to SSL renewal issue
This is an update to my previous review regarding PacificHost's inability to renew the free RapidSSL certificate supplied as part of their ultra hosting

After trying to contact PacificHost management directly we have been able to abtain a prorated refund.

They also denied that the SSL was included in the renewed hosting and said we could have one if we could prove otherwise (something they had never said before).
We proved it and asked for one. Answer yes you should be due for one, but no as the account is canceled, do you want to reopen the account?

PacificHost also sent copies of emails they sent to us to someone using a Yahoo Brazil address, but they refuses to tell us what exactly was shared.

To protect other customers from the same experience we've asked for two things:
A formal apology from a member of senior management so at least they are aware at that level they have a problem
A list of steps that they will plan to take to improve customer service [read more...]

We've utilized the actual are living chitchat several times, one ahead of We registered along with another after i registered, simply because We weren't certain tips on how to build my nameservers they arrange it in my opinion which was trendy. 😠 Simply a terrible experience
It all started when the free rapidssl certificate in my ultra plan didn't get renewed when my Pacific Host renewed my hosting.

It seemed to be an oversight and there wan't an option for me to do it in the SSL section of the control panel so I opened a ticket.

But I there still wasn't a way to renew the SSL, I kept getting told to go back to the control panel or generate a CSR which didn't produce a renewal response from Geotrust or Pacific host. Support didn't read tickets and would ask for ticket numbers they'd just been given or constantly send me to forms that I'd just said didn't work because they said completed with last years SSL certificate on it. It just going round in circles.

Then finally a tech offered to install the certificate and I was requested to sign an agreement to payback $25 for a rapidssl if we left - we gave them access to a company email account and we had a certificate. Great, I went on vacation - came back and found that my staff hadn't been able

😁 I've had a good run with PacificHost!
I've been a customer of another popular web host for a few months however either their service has been degrading or I just happen to be really unfortunate to be on a bad server, as the server constantly loses connectivity and there are periods where mail I send through outlook will just never send. After doing a bit of research I ended up at PacificHost as their reviews on the internet are by far much superior to most other companies, and on some review sites you can see the IP Address of the reviewer so I did a whois check and they all seem legit. So with that aside their price point, features, and cPanel base is what convinced me to try them, I only signed up for their shared hosting as my site isn't too complicated. Their signup process was nice and simple, their emails are the most detailed and gorgeous looking emails I have ever had the pleasure of reading (litterally their emails are like eye candy they look so nice).

And then came the trouble. My site was "accidentally" deleted by a careless rep on a Thursday; I was assured by a manager that a free backup would be created for me that day.

And then it happened again--five days later. Just talked with PH management and they basically brushed me off. Worst part? No backup was ever created.

I lost lots of time and money by trusting Pacific Host. I'll never recommend this company to anyone. They're lack of competent customer service erases any technical prowess. they possess.
🗨 This customer decided to upgrade from a shared hosting service to a VPS and he asked us to cancel his original shared hosting service, so the customer service agent complied and canceled the service. Technically our customer service representative should of asked the customer to fill out our Cancellation Request Form at cancel.pacifichost.com instead of canceling the plan, as in the Form it details that if you are transferring your service you need to have a backup of your data and request us to transfer it first, of which the customer did not do. I (Rex Boyd - Operations Manager) have spoken with the agent who handled the ticket and he understands that he did not handle the ticket properly, and for this I apologized to the customer and worked out an agreement with the customer to keep his business.

When I re-setup his account I forgot to mark his unpaid invoice as paid and our system automatically terminated the account a 2nd time as a result. I spent 2 hours on the phone with Mich

We are in the process of setting up a design company and the guys at Pacific Host helped us get setup and running with our wordpress website, it was having an issue through the auto installer in Softaculous and they fixed the issue nad sent us back our login, and they added some neat plugins into wordpress that I didn't even know existed, one blocks spam so we really appreciate the extra effort these guys went into going above and beyond into helping us. They have a good response on tickets and offer a load of extra stuff that I've never had before with my other hosting company.

As an IT pro for the past 12 years, I've been through alot of hosts and I've had so me bad experiences and good experiences. After hosting with PH for the past 2 months I couldn't be happier with the level of performance, uptime and support that I've received from them.


Anytime I have an issue, I always get a real answer and it doesn't take very long. Whenever there are server or network issues and I notice as I monitor my site from hyperspin, first thing I do is check twitter.com/pacifichost_ops and they usually already mention the issue and that they are working on it. Never has my site been down for more than an hour at a time. Overall though downtime is rare and for the price you pay, it's a good deal too.


IMHO, PacificHost is really how a hosting company should be run, and I appreciate the level of service, and particularly the level of communication and transparency that PaciicHost offers - it's hard to find that anywhere else.

We owned a dedicated server from pacifichost and hosted nearly 6 of our web sites with them. With utmost delight I can say that none of the Hosting provider has satisfied us like pacifichost service. Most of the hosting companies mentioning 99.99% uptime in packages, but we really experienced those uptimes with pacafichost. Not only they take care of their customer needs but also provide resolution on urgent basis. Especially one tech representative Sean White truly impressed by his server knowledge skills. We migrated some of our web sites from windows to Linux even then we did not feel much issues with pacific host. They are simply great and great value for money. This is a good company, they've been around for a few years and their reviews go far back enough to prove it. As always when signing up with a new host I'm a little iffy even with the money back guarantees they all offer, as some will outright lie and refuse to offer you a refund. The order process was relatively fluid, however my order originally got declined and I had to send in a copy of my ID, apparently so because I'm nowhere near my billing address at the moment. That was a bit of a hassle but it's not their fault as I know online fraud is a big industry.

I signed up with Pacifichost because I needed streaming video in the hopes of broadcasting some little league games around where I live, however I didn't ask them specifically if the "web hosting" service supported it and I later found out that it didn't, and I had to upgrade to a vps. I've only been with Pacifichost for a month but I like to review services whether good or bad before I forget. I signed up with Pacifichost for a developer portal website, nothing too intense or hard to host by any means.

I simply chose Pacifichost based on the previous reviews and talking to an agent on their live chat asking a few simple questions like money back and uptime whatnot. I haven't really needed any support as their welcome email was really thorough and gave me links about learning cPanel since it was my first time with cPanel, previously only used DirectAdmin.

My website has been up for a month now with no downtime and I haven't run into any issues that really required the use of their support so I can't rate their support but it is certainly a legitimate service that can reliable host your website. The server also has a lot of hiccups or something as well. There is a lot of limitations with FTP like I can only upload or download 1 or 2 at a time. They said I had to change the filezilla settings to a terrible setting that would drastically affect my speeds. Never had this problem before.

I've been with pacifichost for just 2 months now (I'm using their shared hosting Package) and have received nothing but quality service.

Like most people, I've tried a variety of hosting companies and, although I haven't had many troubles, I've dealt with overloaded servers, slow customer service and various account limitations.

Pacifichost's reliability is great with little downtime, the cause of which is always explained before hand or immediately, if it was unplanned, but what really stands out is their customer service. I have sent a handful of "tickets" to support and I always receive an answer promptly (often within minutes).

I asked in the support ticket if there's any way they keep backups of our sites. They quickly responded and within an hour, I got my deleted files back - and my website running again.
I am just experienced enough to cause real damage, and they have been patient and helpful at all times - can't reccomend them highly enough!

While I have been using PacificHost for very long. I can already recommend them to everyone simply by how they handled an issue with an api integration script which would not function on their servers out of the box and required changing server settings.
Since I did not have access to actual server settings not only did they work with me to correct them they installed the script for me due to conflicts I kept having with the server configurations.
Please note that I am not discussing normal scripts like Joomla, they install like a breeze just like on any other service provider's server. This script which had problems is a lot more advanced and the type where some servers just can not handle it no matter how much effort goes into making it work. I have seen some reviews here that aren't so nice (so much hate going around). I wanted to shed some light on this company. I've been with 2 other hosting companies who I'd rather not say since this review isn't about them. When I signed up with Pacifichost I wasn't lured in by their unlimited hosting but rather when I called them somebody answered (unheard of for quite a few companies) and he answered all my questions regarding their uptime, support and how they run their "unlimited" hosting.

I signed up and I have been here for a about 2 months and I can say I am quite satisified. I ran into script permission error and submitted a ticket and they fixed it within 3 hours. One day my site was down and I called them, the guy opened a ticket for me and it turns out my IP was blocked. I later learned they actually allowed you to unblock your own IP in the client billing area.

There have been a few times in which I noticed a speed issue with my site where it would take a few seconds

I have been Pacific Host for about 18 months now, and I only have good things to say about them. I love their live chat support which is available 24/7 and their frontline support usually get you the help needed right there and then. If they can’t, only then am I forwarded to their ticket response system, which is also by far faster than my previous hosts. So no wasted time for me and no long wait in their queue for their techs to contact me. Their email coordination is fast and efficient. I have experienced a decent amount of uptime compared to other hosting companies I have used in the past which is a big plus point for me as I host a video server with high amounts of traffic moving daily. Honestly speaking, in the last 6 months Pacific Host has been more reliable then my past previous hosting companies I have used for years. Previously I was using free hosting for my other websites and I have to admit I was a bit hesitant about signing up for paid hosting. After reading some positive reviews about Pacifichost, I decided to give them a try. I paid via paypal. their discount code saved a good sum of money for me. Their support team helped me with setup and explained me everything I needed to know. They even helped me with installation of some scripts for running of my site.
So far I have been very pleased. I have not noticed any downtime or slow browsing speed.

To me pacifichost was my worst hosting experience, they blocked my site saying it was consuming lot of resources, i bought a plan with a high level of resources because i know my sites has considerable number of visitor, but i would like that when the site had peaks of users it simply refused the acees with the "high resource" screen, but beside that they prefered to suspend my account puting a message like if i haven´t paid my account (showing that for my visitors) and blocking my email, i asked them to tell me what was causing my site consumes so much resources , they said "the logs are unconclusive, and doomed my entire website and email, forcing me to upgrade to a account with the double of the price and the half of the features, with a control panel that seems more a DOS-like command prompt instead the easy to use cpanel, and even that way, my site and email are still suspended for 72 hours now.

The account his is referring to was a VPS without a cPanel - We have always offered VPS with cPanel but no longer offer without because some people obviously do not understand how to SSH and do things the "old way", he chose the non-cPanel account so he got the non-cPanel account.

He is right about one thing, do not host your site from us if you plan to mass spam people from our servers.

They are excellent in terms of three things.
1. Excellent customer support - There chat support even help in personal queries - for example one day I asked for any website where I can generate free php forms, and the support member provided me ten such websites name!
2. Features - Like video sharing, lots of script support and they even help in installing them or transfering from one server to another
3. Performance - Its fast, I am running 2 ecommerce site and a community site and other two general site on a basic plan all of them are running well, just a few hours server down for the whole sixth month duration. cloudflare and other such service inclusion is also benefit us.

I chose them because they offered ffmpeg in ULTRA Shared Hosting. I needed to convert WMA files to MP3. The site was good when it was up. I put them on pingdom.com - Their whole server was down too many times. The worst part is they refused to refund the money. So I opened a dispute on paypal. I even contacted BBB. Pacific Host accused me of threatening them because I opened a dispute on paypal for them. Their ticket system does not work properly. They said it was above 30 days. Bunch of liars. - Don't sink with them.

Pacifichost is a nice company that I have dealt with. They have a nice group of people working there that really seem to care about your problems. I was transferring over a domain and it wasn't working. After a few days I contacted them and they replied in a few hours and told me it was because privacy lock was on my domain. I changed it to my email and then they reset it. When they reset it though they issued me a $5 credit "for any frustration this might have caused you" in their words. I was astounded, they basically gave me money because I was stupid and forgot I had privacy lock on my domain.

I contacted them another time about an error I received when uploading a video, I called them and the guy on the phone opened up a ticket for me, I didn't have to lift a finger. We were looking for a hosting company that offered SSL economically just to drop a few facebook apps on (ie very light usage). Pacific Host had good reviews and seemed to fit the bill pricewise. Initially their Client Portal had a problem then after installing the SSL cert (it took a while as all their instructions didn't match the the system) we found that it wasn't working, filed a ticket which didn't seem to get looked at - then i noticed that they hadn't given us a dedicated ip (so the cert wouldn't work) told them and it got fixed. The Wordpress site we have installed on the domain is down frequently. PH response was that it might be overloading the server, almost no hits or plugins - probably not. Very often I cant even get to the basic control panel (for example now which is why i have time to write this!!!!!!)

Hosted tends to crash all the time an error every time you write to technical support, and sometimes problems with the site loading too slow, it was stated that it is possible to create your own video site is not so wrong in the video is loaded again.
🗨 The client initially complained about a DNS issue, which was related to the DNS propagation on his domain. Then the further issues he experienced with uploading videos was because he improperly installed Clip-Bucket. We promptly resolved the issue with his script the same day.

😠 No fantastico - Softaculous with less than 50 apps upgrades mean less for more
5 months ago you got Fantastico and Softaculous with all the features. Now you get less than 25% of what Softaculous has to offer. The Cpanel sucks with a java scroller that crashes browser.

They keep saying they are UPGRADING the Cpanel but they only cut service. Don't forget about the POLARIS server melt down in a few months ago that left everyone in limbo with no service for two weeks.

This place used to be the best. Now it is fast becoming the worst out there.

They cut out OXwall, Magento and otherss. You only get some real crappy solutions. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

WireFuseMedia LLC (known as Pacifichost) has repeatedly changed Terms of Service of www.pacifichost.com, leading to a reduction of consumer rights and responsibilities of WireFuseMedia LLC in the presence of "glitch" problems, which deprived me of the opportunity to obtain redress in the absence of agreed services and damage of stored information.

In my case, after braking there server Polaris in the summer, many customers, including me, loses their information. There technical staffs tell me - we will not do this anymore and offer me 2 more months. I do a mistake – believe in one fake provider.

But it happen again - server go down and my information is lost again. 🗨 This client was with us last year when we had a server issue last year that resulted in over a week of downtime to obtain the backups. We issued the client 2 months of service for free as a result of the issue and made a change in our hardware and network provider to avoid such an issue again. Unfortuantely this client became irate and started cursing to our staff members when we were unable to provide any further credit for free. We have not modified or changed in terms of service in anyway that would lead to a "reduction in consumer rights" as our terms of service abides by consumer protection rights as per the state of California.

The server did not subsequently go down, nor has the client lost any data. The firewall blocked the client from accessing pacifichost.com because he attempted to login to our billing systems with the wrong password too many times. I'd been with this hosting company for about 6 months after a HORRIBLE experience with a previous host and they are probably the best UK host I have used so far. Even though PacificHost have millions of customers and were still able to offer a personal service and were very quick to respond to issues. The hosting was ridiculously cheap too. If I ever went over my limit I could easily upgrade to a higher package and to be honest, when you're starting out online you only want a very basic very cheap option to get going.
Uptime was not an issue at any times.It is easy for them to react to problems and fix them and were a few times when they were down and it took only a while to get them back up again. I think the packages and plans will remain the same, so if you are interested in very cheap, hosting they are certainly worth a look. They use cPanel which was a biggie for me since the last host used Plesk which is AWFUL!

This is the only company I know whom has put it into their terms of service to attempt to strip you of your federally guaranteed rights, state guaranteed rights, bank guaranteed rights and even their own payment processor guaranteed rights, that is the right to chargeback.

This company not only takes your money and tries to keep it in spite of denying you service, it has the poorest trained support staff I have ever encountered in my twenty years of online service relationships, its billing staff says it is doing one thing and fails, then blames you for your actions when forced to take them and, then threatens you, your credit rating and more all because you exercised your rights to refund. This of course doesn't go to mention that they have no idea how their own platforms actually work and simple support requests take almost 24 hours before you get any reply and it ends up partially or completely ignored, given excuses or just done wrong despite detailed explanation.
🗨 This client signed up however he tripped our fraud system and we required further verification of his account. He did not reply and therefore we suspended his account to avoid any potential for abuse in the event the account was fraudulent. The client became upset, beligerent and started posting threats if we did not refund him. Instead of allowing us to work with him he files a chargeback instead of letting us work with him to resolve the issue. We were more than willing to work with the client but it was the client who was unwilling to work with us.

after having problems for a long time with mochahost (worst web hosting on the planet) I shifted to hostgator but my website was loading very very slow with them and I finally i shifted to godaddy.com
huh the speed was good but

1) for support i have to wait hours as they dont provide online support
2) trust me my php application was giving error on every next page as they dont provide full trust permissions.

3) Gmail the real boss of email u cannot use within ur php application to send mails and they said they wont enable also (terrible)

4) the worst and worst thing their built in cpanel it really sucks takes hours to do simple things and continuously log off if u r working also

finally afterwards i found pacifichost hosting really i was scared to start as i was having problems to start but it is better now

This host fails miserably at providing the services they claim to specialize in. Specifically being a hosting site for people who wish to run video sites such as phpmotion or clipbucket. After a month of trying to get phpmoton to work and them not knowing what to do to resolve the countless problems I switched to ClipBucket, which eventually worked, even though their ffmpeg is severely outdated and won't allow any high def videos to work, they then decided, without notice, to switch my hosting to a new server, which left my site offline for 24 hours, after repeated complaints they moved it back but then videos wouldn't encode, they'd somehow lost the path to flvtool2, then they decided to move me to another server yet again, same problems, another 24 hour down time, after complaining about that they AGAIN moved me to another server and there I sit, still unable to encode a video even after I showed them what the problem was. Stay away. Servers down all the time, customer support at its worst, never provide good answers and always the same excuses. I purchased a VPS server and its been over 2 weeks and the site still didnt work. STAY AWAY!

I'd like to tell you about my experience using PacificHost web hosting services.. Frankly speaking, I am fully-satisfied.. thumbs up to their support. Everytime I have had a question or needed support I have received an answer to my emails in less than one hour. They are always helpful and friendly no matter how simple or complex my questions are.
The hosting solutions provided are excellent. Great value for money..

I have been with Pacifichost for nearly 1 year now and have had good experiences. When I let them know that there is a problem they track it down and have always fixed it for me. When I submit a support ticket I always hear back within an hour at the most. This is technical service at 3:00am! The server has always been up but when there is downtime I hear about it, for any maintenance I have received an email letting me know and what I love is when there is a server issue they always update their twitter so I know whats going on. The server was a little slow sometimes but it turned out to be a DDOS attack which they were able to resolve within a few hours but that has only rarely happened. It's not 100% uptime but from what I have experienced in the past the service is a blessing compared to others. 😁 I'd recommend Pacifichost quite highly.
I've used Pacifichost for quite a long period of time. Most of the traffic stems from a webcam which uploads several pics per minute. Reliability is 100% I honestly cannot remember the last downtime our site has had that wasnt because of something I did.
The server uptime and overall speed performance are outstanding and consistent.
Their technical support is Helpful - support tickets tend to get a response within minutes, which usually resolves the problem. I'd recommend them quite highly.

😁 After a slightly rocky start what a result!
I have only been with Pacifichost just about a week but I feel it only fair that I should comment on how I have found them to be so far.

I moved my account from hostgator over to pacifichost because hostgator did not provide ffmpeg, mod_safemode, and a php.ini that was as flexibale as pacifichost. Plus their pricing was really competitave for all their great features.

So I signed up for a year account and was activated instantly which was great and all I had to do was change my nameservers over and wait for the DNS to propogate. Well after a couple of days my websites were working fine but I was not getting as many email as I used to get, so I ran a few tests sending email back and forth between account that I had on the same server, this highlighted that there was an issue and some of my domains seemed to be blocking emails.

I raised a ticket and this was replied to in fairness at a reasonable pace and they said the would look in to it for me, after some back and forth I was

I found PacificHost after months of looking for a good hosting company. I also asked one of my friends and he recommended PacificHost, so I gave them a shot. I was very glad that I chose PacificHost. Yesterday my wordpress blog got hacked and I contacted their support, I was amazed as how quickly their support was able to restore the pages for me. 😁 Double Thumbs Up To Pacifichost!
I was looking for a good hosting website and was previously with many web hosting providers, Pacifichost is one of the best hosts I've ever dealt with.
After a while I decide to cut down the cost for the server, and i wanted unlimited bandwidth, diskspace (back when I signed up this wasn't unlimited, but still big enough for me to call it unlimited).
Their support was also very helpful in the few issues I had. My web site has only once had problems, about 4 hours, but when I contacted them they said they were already working on it. Indeed, it was fixed within an hour.
Billing is automatic, and always correct. Pricing is reasonable.
I would recommend these guys!

I have been with Pacific Host for over 2 years now. All I can say is that they have always been there for me. I do not understand the negative reviews on this site. The slander is incredible considering my experience with them. They host over 20 websites of mine and I also had a dedicated server with them for a few years, they are a truly professional company.

I have submitted countless support questions and the helped me to resolve certain conflicts that had nothing to do with them! Their response time is the best I have ever seen, trust me I have tried every hosting company out there...

They are honest with their practices and willing to work with you to resolve any questions you may have regarding billing or support. It is rare to find a good well rounded hosting company like pacific host.

As for their servers, they are up 100% and I never had any issues or downtime. They also host ffmpeg, a tool that not too many hosts offer, I had no lag problems with my videos or [read more...]

I have moved to Pacific Host from Ipage hosting company. After my first review of hosting market I have chosen Ipage more or less because of cheap price. When I started to work with them - I became frustrated... the speed was really bad + no gzip possibility for content. Then I made my second review and I found some remarks about Pacific hosting company. Finally I have made decision to try this Hosting Company.
Back to my experience with Pacific Host for last couple months - I would say you can rely on it. The connection/download page speed is very good, I can gzip my content, no problems at all.
Moreover Thomas is really customer focused guy, I had one question a while ago and forward it on Saturday. I got answer emailed to me already on Sunday morning! I've had a great experience and will continue to host my website with them. :)

I've been bouncing around a few hosts for a few years and I never quite found a good host. I had a decent run with hostgator but due to their unsatisfactory support I moved to PacificHost. It was a bit of a gamble for me because they are a smaller company but I based my decision on the other reviews I saw about the company and decided to move my sites over. That was about 6 months ago and there have been a few minor issues here and there on shared hosting which is hard to avoid. All the issues were handled very quickly and they provided full disclosure as to what the issue was about. I love their servers, speed and level of support.

If you haven't been able to find a host with whom you've been happy with I would definitely recommend you check out what PacificHost has to offer. You will see these guys really know what they are doing.

I've used the reseller package with pacifichost and probably host ~40 different sites with them. The 'cloud hosting' im able to advertise to my clients is a great feature im able to advertise. I've had a website with Pacifichost for 8 months. I highly recommend them. They have fast servers and support is top notch. I issued a support ticket at 1:00am in the morning. (I messed up on a phpmotion uninstallation) They responded to teh ticket and had the problem solved in 30 minutes!! I don't believe you will find a better host. 24/7 support. Fast Servers. Price is great. They run specials for new clients just check the right hand corner of the website for that.

After fleeing my previosu host from 3 years, which was becoming no longer reliable, I wound up at Pacifichost and I am very happy that I did.

The pricing they offer is very reasonable and the packages come with all the features and even some I don't need

The servers themselves are reliable and up-to-date and I have experienced no downtime at all.

Support isn't as fast as I would hope but when they respond they generally know what the issue is and fix the issue within a reasonable manner.

Overall though I am delighted to have found PacificHost, their servers are reliable which is the most important thing, their support is a little slow but is great at fixing issues when they rarely creep up. I would recommend them to anybody seeking reliable, knowledgeable and feature rich hosting.

I came back here again to write my opinion about PacificHost after 3 months. Firstly, I began to believe that their live chat is nearly 24 hours online. Also I must say they answered all my tickets in very short time like few minutes.
few days ago I recieved an email from them saying that they have adjusted their hosting packages for a better service and that my hosting package was added to Cloudflare cdn without any cost to me for free. I was not expecting actually so I liked it a lot.
Now i am happy with them so i can suggest to all people who want and need hosting service.

Why do you advertise PacificHost? I made ​​them pay for the entire year and they think they stole my money because today I do not even have access to my cPanel! They do not add to my emails!

I heard about pacifichost on WHT about 2 months ago and I figured that I would give them a try. I started with a reseller account, which included a whmcs license and plenty of resources. After I started I had a lot of troubles with my reseller (because I was new to hosting) and they helped me every time I got on live chat! One of the Pacifichost employees even helped me think of a domain name. After a while I did not need the reseller anymore so I downgraded to a shared package. They helped me the entire way! I would recommend Pacifichost to absolutely anyone that is looking for fast servers, reliable service, and a very professional support team!

😠 PacificHost is unethical beyond words!
For over 3 months now I have been run around shamelessly by PacificHost customer service. My website typically takes 20-30 seconds to load on an average day. At this moment my site has been down for over an hour and as usual I will get a response, "when or if they feel like it", and all the response will say - no matter how many times or ways I have asked to know what the problems have been - it is loading fine now! 20-30 seconds to load is obviously not a problem to them. Also, it is not a concern that they never answer questions, never think it is a problem for a site to be down, and will never admit that it was their problem!

They just always say it is at my end with my ISP. Does not seem to matter that I have no other problems at my end other than the one website hosted with them! I am leaving ASAP and do not expect my money back because they have lied about everything else, so I can only assume! 😠 Do not use if you need mission critical hosting!
Before I begin, please know I will be happy to provide extensive details, including emails, chat logs, screen shots and performance logs clearly illustrating what I am claiming.

I signed up for a VPS package around 3/11/11. First and fore most, if you plan on contacting support, prepare for the potential of being treated like they are paying you and not the other way around.

I have a critical project that is 5 digits in revenue for my company. After extensive searching, I decided on hosting with PacificHost.

While there are a few reasons I am extremely disappointed with them, I am only going to focus on the main one, because it paints a very good picture of what it is like to work with this company.

I have with PacificHost for over 2 years and I have 2 accounts with them. PH was the first big web host I tried and I never had to look any further, they have been providing excellent service in all aspects.

The support has been very helpful even though they had some issues with some techs for a while, I always get a response when sending an email to support@ within an hour and they helped me move my sub-domain over from one account to another.

The price itself is superb and when you compare all the features they are great. They offer unlimited which I know it really isn't but nonetheless I never had any real issues with the service. I also have shell access although they needed my ID its certainly nice to have for account management

😠 NOT GOING TO GO INTO DETAIL AS I HAVE ALREADY WASTED ENOUGH TIME ON THESE COWBOYS

Host advertises certain services are supported. I bought the $29 VPS and was told they do not actually support these services that they advertise.

I asked for a refund using the 'Anytime Moneyback Guarantee' and was told I was not covered? How can this even be possible? Anytime, any reason. I am covered. A full paypal dispute is in the process and I have sent paypal a script of the "24/7" chat where the agent just disconnects you mid sentence etc.

VERY VERY BAD COMPANY!

😁 This is a short and quick review, but I really wish to applaud pacifichost for all the things they have done with me.

I am a user who is not that technical, however the team there is great, I have had many of problems with installing things since I don't know what I am doing, yet the team freely installed them all for me!

The billing team is even more helpful, I had a payment issue and they resolved it within a matter of minutes.

The server speeds are great for me, and the uptime, well, I never saw any? I have been at Pacific for well over 6 months and so far it has been a pleasure to be using their services.

😠 Ok if you value your money , avoid PacificHost.

They have absolutely no ideas how to run a business and the service they provide is a lie, they will not supply you the service they advertised, your website is going to run into major problem and they are not professionals.

-Customer services non existents, phone lines 40 min wait, ticket 1-2 day before you receive a reply
-24 Hours after my server was set up, website ran for 3 hours, then was offline for the rest of the day, they had servers outage on their hand constantly.
-they have oversold their shared servers , they unable to cope yet keep signing up new clients to those same servers.
-They boast 99% uptime, totally untrue their servers constantly struggles to cope and there is severe downtime
-They do not offer unlimited bandwidth , that is a total lie to drag you to sign with them, read the terms and condtions.
-High load time for your site, MYSQL errors the list goes on with the problem they have with their servers
🗨 This customer is irate over the fact he had software issues on his account that took a while for our support team to resolve. We attempted to work with the client but from the start he assumed we were blaming him for the problems and immediately started to attack our team and service. We corrected the client's issue within 24 hours even though it was nothing to do with our shared servers and was a script issue as client incorrectly installed the software.

We are very fair and offer refunds to clients who properly cancel their account. When this client requested cancellation of their account we gave them the link to fill out our cancel request form but the client immediately filed a chargeback and refused to fill out the form. Even after the client performed the chargeback he still demanded a refund but we cannot refund a transaction if there is a customer chargeback on the transaction. We then advised the client that since they performed a chargeback on false pretenses claiming the

😁 I have been with pacific for a while now, not only are their prices amazing, their support is one of the best teams I have met.

I had a odd problem here and there, but nothing serious, just billing things I requested to be changed etc, they responded almost instantly.

😠 I visited their web site and try to use one of the plant they offered. But I want to clearify some point before choice which plant. I ask a genreal question in the chart (ask their recommendation of which suitable for me). I wait here for around 1/2 hours but she is not answer my question. 😠 Pacific Host is definitely the worse host I have ever been with. I tried them all and I can tell you 'everyone else" seems like a dream right now compared to them. They are slow in responding to tickets, if you ask the wrong question or are too arrogant they will take a week to respond. Their servers are so slow, sometimes you can connect other times you have to wait to even ftp your site... If you are looking for site timeouts and "strange" occurrences, this is the hosting for you! 😠 Update number 3 after threatening legal action I was granted access to my filed but still told to have the reviews removed which I will not, their CEO has emailed me letting me know that they have the right to terminate anyone for any reason, however my property was held hostage which is illegal, I also lost every email dated 1/31 which contained almost 200$ worth of emails I paid for the attachments they contained, they haven't done anything to help restore these and now I have lost a significant amount of money due to this. I will be seeking legal damages.

😠 Following my previous review below, pacifichost has since terminated my account and refuses to grant me access to my files or databases, they also told me to contact the administrator of this website to have my previous review removed in order to have my account reinstated, they have also made my domain which I have personally paid over 4 years in advance for with a previous register and transferred over to them inactive meaning i have lost control over my own property and files and am being blackmailed because of my previous review. 😠 From day one of my site being transferred i have had nothing but horrible down time, high page loading latency and page request completely timing out, talking to support they claim everything is working fine, when i ask them what their definition of fine is they do not respond, I was charged for a domain transfer yet arguing with them over it they claim i was charged for a domain renewal, i didn't ask for a domain renewal and how can you renew a domain that isn't even hosted with them at the time of order? My invoice clearly states i was charged for a transfer, not a renewal yet they refuse to refund my money, making their *FREE* transfers a lie. 😠 I am with Pacific host for a month after leaving hostmonster. These two hosting companies suck a great deal! I was with Canaca as well. All these freaking companies offer you great support to allure you in and especially after you transfer all your domains to them, they make you suck! Great downtimes on the website, instantly slowed web server, no hacking teck support, etc. I am not happy with these folks. And it proves, that the best hosting provider is you yourself. That is what I am going to do in near future - make my own webserver and either put in on co-location or put it in my office and have good outbound traffic with my cable provider!

About a month ago I found out about Pacific Hosting on here and after reading the reviews I decided to give them a shot. I figured there were others considering Pacific Hsting too so I decided to come back to this site and write m y own review about this host.

Initial Impression:
I first thought this host sounded "too good" to be true.. I mean, unlimited diskspace and bandwidth for $2.99/Month. I decided to give them a shot because the money back guarantee.

My experiences:
The first month was GREAT! After purchasing the basic plan for 24 months I got a phone call from a staff member who confirmed my plan and made sure I got my info email. I had no issues at all when setting up my website, it was painless and easy.

I have also monitored the uptime of this host since I purchased the package with alertfox and the uptime seems to be 100% so far which makes me very pleased.

Final thoughts:

😁 I have had my website for over ten years, and during that time I have had about half a dozen servers. In June 2010, I transferred my website to a VPS on PacificHost. I cannot begin to tell you of the problems that I had with them, but please don’t stop reading because this is a GLOWING report.

I just want you to understand that there were problems. Day after day there were problems, literally hundreds of problems, to a point that after three months I was so frustrated that I just wanted to go anywhere else. My website is very large with lots of databases, and there are always problems when transferring to a new host, but unlike on PacificHost, they are usually resolved within the first couple of weeks. PacificHost recognizes that VPS containers on beast have been having trouble for more than twenty-four (24) hours now. We have been aware of this issue the entire time and have been working on it constantly. Our senior support staff have been working at this issue without rest.

After seeing this review by Silaris, I feel compelled to explain our side of the story to the public.

In a period of 1 month, Silaris has created many duplicate tickets, opened several closed tickets, generally spammed our ticket system, and abused our staff members multiple times.

In addition, it was found that he was hosting illegal MP3 files on his account.

The e-mail he references is a valid e-mail from us. Unfortunately, we did have a big issue on his server that has now been corrected. We have processed every cancellation resulting from that issue and refunded those who qualified.

Due to these many transgressions by Silaris, we decided to terminate his account. We provided him with full backups of his data and he has plenty of time now to download these backups.

We will not be refunding Silaris because of the nature and severity of his transgressions.

😞 I signed up with Pacific Host in April. Since then, I have had MULTIPLE tickets in with them because of errors. I feel like our site is ALWAYS down and I get multiple complaints from visitors because of how slow it loads sometimes. I want to move the site, but havent decided if I want to tackle moving it all yet, but as I write this our site is down YET again.

Their customer service is not 24/7 like they say. I'm fine if it's not, but dont advertise it if you cant offer it. I couldnt do anything on my site, pt in a ticket, and no one touched it for two days. I tried to use online chat, and no one was online. I called and their lines were "closed".

😁 I signed up for this host on 4/28/2010 according to the login email I found just before making this review so I could have the right dates.

Now I wish to state how I feel about this hosting company. Personally I love this host and have not had the same issues the other reviewers are claiming.

In my opinion the support is beyond perfection and if the site had something beyond perfection its what I would give this host. Simply because they go above and beyond what I ask for or put in my support tickets.

Now I will list the issues I had with them that were all fixed

The first issue I had was when I first signed up and I tried to install phpmelody script and it resulted in error. I contacted them and about 4 hours later my issue was fixed thanks to Sebastian.

Second, my site was apparently causing the CPU to spoke and they told me it was my shoutbox script I had installed. I then removed it and found a better one that has less features but causes less CPU and I have never [read more...]

😠 Right now I am running into the following issues with PacificHost on a regular basis:

1. Postgresql servers stopping to work for an hour or more every few days
2. SSL certificates that were working fine one day, not working the next
3. Tech support live chat where the agent in chat ignores you and doesn't bother to reply, respond or even acknowlege that you are there
4. Tech support live chat where the agent in chat disconnects you without warning
5. Tech support emails partway through handling of an issue where the agent handling them doesn't bother or is for some reason unable to read previous update of the current tickets, and basically coming into the conversation like it is a brand new ticket, forcing me to have to start from scratch each time it happens and re-explain the stuff that was already explained

😠 Same as previous reviewer. My domain seems to have a lot of hiccups and I have asked every time to make sure my bandwidth is within limits for the package and always get a response that I am properly within limits.

Pretty embarrassing when I get new clients and they can't load my domain!

It gets frustrating when they respond "Everything is OK on our end." I feel that I have been quite gullible with their support responses may need to consider seriously in getting another host.

I would rate their cpanel, but its difficult when you can't load it!

😠 Servers up and down several times a day. The "customer support" responses are usually auto response type from scripts, and their fake tech support names lend and air of insincerity.

Over the last 5 days, the 3 sites hosted with them go down for 1-2 hours at time, several times per day. Each time it was excused by PH as a "temporary network issue". If they have THAT many "temporary network issues", I would say their problems are not limited to just that.

HORRIBLE experience. I would not recommend them.

😁 Paciifchost provides something you really rarely see from a hosting company. They provide straightforward, simple plans and support. They are always providing updates on any new company announcements and changes on twitter. Everytime I login to my cpanel I see the updates which is a pretty neat idea.

The speed and reliablity has surpassed their 99.9% uptime guarantee for several months now and never had an issue, they are quite honestly - fantastic.

If you check online I'm sure you can get a nice deal with the coupons circulating around the net.

Support is always available and responds within an hour always of my support request.

Signup was real easy, I like their order form. After I signed up I got my control panel email, however it went to spam so remember to check that! It told me to submit a form to have them install phpmotion and they installed it in an hour, I was really impressed. Videos load great, no buffer or video upload issues, everything worked right out of the box. I have been with them for a few months now and I am really impressed. My sites are up and running anytime I am online and I am going to add my site to host-tracker.com just so I make sure the uptime really is 99.9 but from my experience I think it really is. I don't think I will be moving anytime soon. I highly recommend these guys!

😃 hosted for many months now. They have replies to all tickets I have ever sent in within a few minutes and nothing ever took more than I'd say 2 hours to resolve.

The only time my site wasn't working good, they let me know the server I was on was having trouble and they transferred me to another server with no problems at all. Another time they freely restored one of my sites from a recent backup because a hacker got in and they helped me a script bug so no more hacks could occur.

They really are a good host and I like them a lot. I can always count on them to be there when I need them. I think hostupon might be their closest competitor and I recommend PacificHost by far

😁 I have signed up with Pacifichost more than a year ago and would like to tell you about the services they provide. It was really long period of comparing different web hosting offers and after that I decided to sign up with this company.
During the initial months of setting up my website, the customer support was very handy. Support is great and very quick to help if there is a problem, but I've never had any major problems, just the occasional thing that you would get with any shared hosting environment.
The speed connection is very fast and network uptime is great. Their pricing is cheap and nice discounts saved me a good sum of money.
