Naked Hosting - Network Operations Center

Naked Hosting has spared no expense in selecting and connecting to backbone providers. Currently with six different backbone providers with connections no less than 1,000Mbps to each, Naked Hosting has propelled itself to the top of the web hosting industry.

In Naked Hosting's downtown Atlanta location, we have access to two of the critical telco meeting points (POP) in the Eastern United States and has data centers in both of the buildings that houses these POPs.A major nemesis of networks is a simple backhoe. In consideration of that, Naked Hosting has gone to great pains to diversify its internal fiber connections. Fiber between the two buildings runs down two opposite corners and through two separate pipes under the street.Also redundant are the routers and switches that make up the backbone of Naked Hosting' snetwork. There is NO single point of failure in the network.

Naked Hosting uses a combination of Cisco and Foundry products to support the network.

* Double-lock security + independent building security + key-card access to all areas
* Independent cooling system with building back-up
* Waterless fire suppresion system

Without power, nothing works! Therefore, Naked Hosting has gone to great lengths to back up all power systems. Present in the data centers are battery systems capable of running all the equipment for over two hours. In the event of a power outage, Naked Hosting has two separate power connections to generators on the top floor and basement of the buildings. The generators start up within ten seconds of an outage if the power has not been restored.

No costs are cut in the acquisition of hardware. All servers have top-of-the-line parts and adequate cooling

😠 This is a hosting company you want to stay away from right after (2 days to be percise) i renewed my monthly bill they said i violated tos and refused to refund my money.. well 9.95 i figure screw it and let it go next month figuring i was done with this company and wouldnt hear from them again. WRONG! they started harassing me stating i OWED THEM MONEY. and taht they'd locked my account i was liek check it it already IS! Also they said that i never cancelled my service which if IS you email me i can PROVE 100% from KACY and MIKE who i wrote called and cussed while they all had memory lapses of Oh this is the first time you even contacted us and we dont take info over the phone so your convo was never valid IF we did talk to you

i then dug into old gmail (thank heaven for gmail keeps old copies) and i fwd them to them which they still denied ever getting thos is states "HERE IS THE REQUESTED INFO YOU WANTED OVER OUR PHONE CONVERSATION" along with "here is the cancellation link [read more...]
