😠 Inaccessible support, frequent host site crashes
Simply not worth the complete lack of support. Your domain name is basically held hostage, since support won't even respond to requests for a transfer authorization node. I think in the15 years I've had service I've only a personal response from support once, and that was when I couldn't get their system to process my payment.

😠 Customer service non-existent + dinosaur control panel
While it might be free, the old saying is true- you get what you pay for. Poor customer service (let's even say non-existent), and the control panel and features provided might (keyword 'might') be appropriate in the 90's.

Go somewhere else for your hosting or domain services. Don't bother with Mister.net

😠 Update - phone number useless
Phone number is no good. Automated voice comes on and says that number is no good, please try your operator for more information.
So, my hunch might be correct, they are out or going out of business.
Now I can't transfer my sites to a new web hosting company because I need authorization / EPP codes to do it. They really have let us all down. What a shame.

😠 Lousy to say the least
I’ve been a customer for almost ten years. Service, support was great. Response time for fast.
In the last two months and seven emails or using the contact form on their site, i have had one reply. I am unable to update my site to the new serving host they have. The interface for site admin is confusing. While I have uploaded using it, thinking my site is fine. But checking it with a browser, still not current.
I guess they are probably going out of business.
Update: i just recieved a notice in email to renew my site, not sure what to do now as it expires in November.

😠 Don't use mister.net you will be sorry!
I have been trying for several weeks now to get support for a problem on both of my domains. I have been a customer for many years now but since the lack of support I feel it necessary to look for other hosting options. I really hoped they could have resolved this issue before this became necessary but now I don't know how I can switch without getting the proper authorization from their support personal. If anyone else has figured it out please post your results.

😠 Don't Use This Site!
Everything was fine, basic but fine, until last month when the website and emails (that go through the domain) completely stopped working. Only some people can see the site, others can't. We cannot use th emails to send or receive and yes, these are Business emails which means money has been lost every day since the problem started. Support is 24/7 HAH. They ignore emails 24/7. Don't expect to ever reach anyone with the email system they have (No support phone numbers available on the site). Absolute lowest of the low. Go to ANYTHING but Mister.net. They've had over two weeks to help us fix this problem and so far nothing has been done. I got one email reply asking for the domain and that's as far as they've got. Thanks a lot for impeding my business' growth and frustrating me beyond belief.

😁 cannot access my account
I have never had problems with Mister.net and do recommend them to others but today I have a problem and cannot get any support. I cannot upload to my web with timeout errors and 425 unable to build data connection. I cannot get any of my account information to load at Mister.net. 3 emails were sent to support without any response. I have no idea what is going on. Any help out there? I am using the free web hosting with a domain registration.

😞 Service was once very good, very poor now.
I have four domains registered with Mister Net, some for many years. Where service was once excellent, it is now the opposite. Right now, when I try to upload to the server, I get a timeout in a minute or so even though I've increased the time to 600 seconds!! Needless to say, I can't upload updates etc. Users are seeing very slow websites with place holders instead of pictures. I have been trying to contact them by email and through their website for more than a week with no response or correction of the problem. I will have to consider moving to another server/host.

😃 Very friendly and polite. They respond quickly enough for me and my site is up enough for me to run my accommodation business. My website loads quickly and you can't beat the price of US $35 for hosting and a domain. I've just bought a second domain.

😠 I have finally decided to leave Mister.net. Site is down at least 10% of the time, mail servers are down all the time and make it impossible to get email half of the day. Their support is weak with no live support, whether chat or phone. They won't provide a phone number no matter what and are slow to respond. DON"T MAKE THE MISTAKE, YOU WILL BE SORRY. Their hosting is worth what it costs - absolutely nothing.

😁 I am so impressed with the tech support on this site. Every email I sent has been responded to in 2-3 hours. Their response is always clear, concise, simple and extremely polite. I dealt with Scott most recently and I was given A+ service. Even on a weekend I was sorted out in less than 24 hours. I have had so many problems with other tech support for various other services that it was extremely refreshing.

As far as the rest of the site goes, I have been happy with the services offered and the price. I haven't had any problems with service disruption and I didn't have any problem learning how to use it. Kudos! I will recommend.

😁 When I first started using Mister.net, I had some issues with the e-mail and my website. But once I communicated what my problems were, my issues were corrected within 24-48 hours.

The communication I received from the customer service staff at Mister.net were always friendly. At first, I didn't have good things to say about Mister.net, but now I recommend them when others ask where they should get web hosting.

I am a very satisfied customer.

😠 I just signed up with mister.net a few days ago. I thought it would be a great bargain to have "free" hosting and only have to pay the $35 to register my domain name. As someone starting a new business on a shoestring budget, I need all the savings I can get. Well, the savings is turning into a nightmare. I can't concentrate on getting new customers because the e-mail address they gave me won't take incoming emails. I put in a request to have my domain pointed to the IP address of the place where I created my website. I was thrilled to see it was done the very next day. Unfortunately, it reverted later that night. It takes almost an entire day to get anyone to e-mail me back and no one with call me to just get everything resolved for good and all. I have to say that I am extremely disappointed. I wasted money that I really did not have to spend on this.

😁 We have had several websites with Mister.net. this is a great company to deal with, yes the site is sometimes down...they are there to fix it ASAP. Mister.net will email you back mostly within 24 hours, I had them email me back within a few hours when the server was down.

😠 wish I had read these reviews first ! The good ones are obviously from Mister.net themselves. I bought a domain off them earlier this month but have;nt had it setup yet. I got a sarcastic Email saying how very much they appreciated my money! I put it down to experience now but fortunately I have a pal at google who is gonna look at blacklisting them!

😁 You cannot beat the value that Mister.net provides. They make it very simple, register a domain with them and they give you their free hosting. Let me tell you... their hosting is better then the majority of paid hosting. I have been with them over 3 years. When I do have a problem they are always quick and a pleasure to deal with. 😁 I have been with Mister.net for over 5 years. There customer support is all email based but has always been quick and extremely useful. I absolutely love this company. They recently relaunched their site which might be part of there recent outages, but my site has always been online and I have had zero problems.

😃 I put in the first review and I just happened to see the other bad review and I don’t know what that guy is talking about. I have two sites with Mister.net and I’m really happy with both. I have a ton of email accounts, protected directories, video, etc and I don’t have any problems. It’s all email support, but they’ve always been there for me and still are. $35 a year…I’m not complaining.

😠 I have used them for 6 months and it is a very slow site. Now they do not exist anymore. Can't login to my domain, can't contact mister.net to find out what happened to them. It is as if they fell off the map. They may be cheaper than others, but that does not excuse them for very poor service.

I would recommend using someone else with better service and support. These guys are gone !!
