😠 I purchased a server for RUST from these guys and after some days, it started crashing because it runs out of memory. They told me to upgrade to 100 slots to get more memory. This is not an option so I asked them to cancel my subscription. They did not cancel it because they said its over 5 days.

😠 I was paying $8.28/mo for 5GB RAM server, and wanted to switch games to a game that requires far less resources, but they tell me I can't use my current subscription, and have to cancel and start a new one for the other game, and want me to pay $9.99/mo. for 1GB RAM, when I was paying $8.28/mo. for 5GB RAM. When I first started with them, I was so pleased that I finally found a game server host with a location near me that had decent latency, but the money grabbing can take a hike!

😁 I don't know what these other reviews are talking about? I've been using GameServers for quite a few months now and their customer service is quick to respond, professional, and helpful. I've never had any technical difficulties and I'm sure if I did, they'd be on it in a snap. If you're looking for a good and affordable game hosting site, I'd give them a try. I've been really unsatisfied with other hosting sites in the past.

😠 unfortunately they are very poor and very slow at coming back to you on customer service, we experienced being lagged out , server constantly restarts and when ddosed we were all lagged off, they say they have protection but it doesnt feel like it
when we brought it to their attention they eventually suspended the server - not giving about our community that we have built up and the fact that they could have sent us a report and also moved us to a different hosting server was not even offered
avoid at all costs and go with someone who has better responses times in customer service - one that actually cares about their client

😠 Do NOT trust Gameservers to play fair with you!
My group rented a dedicated server from Gameservers for approximately 9 months to run our vm's for the MMOG we play. The service was mediocre at best; customer service was quick to respond during initial set up phase but once the money changed hands they were hard to catch up with and we would have to wait over 24 hours to get response to issues with downtime, etc.
Finally deciding it wasn't worth it, we found a much better alternative and we cancelled the Gameserver service.. since they were very slow to response it wound up being 4 days into the next billing cycle. Now they refuse to refund the overpayment for server service and actually have the gall to claim we still owe them for the current month we are not using. Some of the absolute worst customer service as far as I'm concerned.

😠 Had the server for less than a month, in that time the server was unstable, and constant crashes during prime time hours (weekends and holidays). But the 2 days of downtime at the end of my subscription was what did it, no help from custommer support during that time, and no reimbursement.

😠 Support is atrocious, non responsive, non caring. Not unusual for a server to be down for days especially if over a weekend. Support will not respond to their tickets at times for almost 48 hours. We have been with GameServers for almost 5 years and the support has always been bad. If it is possible to us to get a server with any other host we do so now even though at one time all our servers were hosted with GameServers.

I have been hosting/managing dedicated gaming servers for over 15 years and i can say without a ounce of hesitation or regret that gameservers.com is the worst server host i have seen in all of those 15+ years. They have a terrible customer support that either fixes the problem and then answers your ticket acting like you're retarded and there was no problem or they will fix nothing and act the same way. Or they will fix nothing and tell you that it was thier plan to have it messed up like that in the first place. The REALLY wrong thing is that IT'S TRUE! They would actually rather have something broken then have any customer satisfaction at all!
The best part is that they DO NOT support ANY ftp or console access at all! Any server host the refuses customer access to the server they are paying for is worthless no matter the price! AND they make you pay an arm and a leg! We paid $82/mo while there are other hosts with BETTER service providing the same sized server for only $64/mo!
