Hosting your e-mail environment
When someone sends you an e-mail, you also want to be sure that you receive this e-mail. In addition to its primary mail servers, EuroSRS has set up two fallback mail servers in completely different networks. This minimizes the chance that e-mail will not reach you.

When one of the primary mail servers, which by the way largely run in a cluster environment (multiple mail servers), is not available, the e-mail intended for you will be collected on the fallback servers.

Spam and viruses

Hierdoor is onze betrouwbaarheid en de uptime van onze servers in combinatie met ons redundante netwerk, over de afgelopen jaren erg hoog gebleken in vergelijking met vele andere hosting providers.

Op de servers van EuroSRS zijn de meest recente software versies en updates aanwezig, op voorwaarde dat deze door en door getest zijn. Nieuwe releases en updates worden pas geïnstalleerd wanneer ervaringen aanwijzen dat deze betrouwbaar, stabiel en veilig zijn.

Hosting van uw e-mailomgeving
Wanneer iemand u een e-mail stuurt wilt u er ook zeker van zijn dat u deze mail ontvangt. EuroSRS heeft naast haar primaire mailservers een tweetal fallback mailservers in compleet andere netwerken ingericht. Hierdoor is de kans dat e-mail niet bij u aankomt tot een minimum beperkt.

Wanneer één van de primaire mailservers, die overigens grotendeels in een clusteromgeving (meerdere mailservers) draaien niet beschikbaar zijn wordt de voor u bestemde e-mail opgevangen op de fallback servers.

Zodra de primaire server weer bereikbaar is wordt het voor u bestemde mailbericht alsnog bij u afgeleverd.

Voor extra beschikbaarheid draait euroSRS tevens 3 nameservers die elk in een apart netwerk zijn ondergebracht. Onze servers staan in datacentra te Amsterdam, Nijmegen, Arnhem, Duiven en Brussel.

Spam en virussen
Op de servers van euroSRS zijn meerdere spam en virusfilters actief die ervoor zorgen dat ongeveer 98% van alle spam u niet bereikt. Daarnaast kunt u voor uw e-mailaccount de spamfilters nog strenger instellen waardoor zo goed als alle spam u niet zal bereiken. zorgen de virusfilters ervoor dat de servers virusvrij zijn.

Uw e-mail wordt eveneens gescand op virussen en waardoor u veilig uw mail kunt ophalen bij euroSRS. Wij raden u aan voor de veiligheid van de data op uw eigen PC om een goede virusscanner te installeren!
